These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Truss Analysis Calculator web application (“Service”), provided by Truss Analysis Calculator (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not register for or use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Accounts and Security

You must register using a valid email address and password.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to the Service is available only through a paid subscription.

Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.

We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new fees.

4. Data Privacy

We collect and process personal data (such as email, account information, and usage data) in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

We use third-party services including Stripe (for payments) and a third-party authentication service. These providers may process your personal data on our behalf.

By using the Service, you consent to such data collection and processing.

5. Use of the Service

The Service provides computational tools for analyzing trusses based on user inputs (geometry, forces, etc.) and generating calculation reports.

The Service is intended solely as an aid to qualified engineering judgment.

The Service does not provide professional engineering services and does not certify, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any output.

All calculations, designs, and reports generated through the Service must be reviewed and approved by a licensed professional engineer of record before being used in any real-world application.

6. Restrictions

You may not:

Use the Service for unlawful purposes.

Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service or its content.

Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results,

Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement,

Uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury, arising from your use of the Service.

In no event shall the Company’s total liability exceed the amount you paid for access to the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You acknowledge and agree that all outputs must be reviewed and approved by a licensed professional engineer of record before use in any construction project, and that you assume full responsibility for any reliance on the Service’s results.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, and content, is owned by or licensed to the Company. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
